Help & support
The answers below cover the most common questions.
Signed in as a grown-up? Open Send us a note (Settings → Send us a note) to tell us what's confusing, what's broken, an idea or something you love. Chad reads every note.
Common questions
- A kid can't sign in. Kids use Log in to a student account with their username. A parent can reset the password or turn the login back on from the kid's page (Kids → their name).
- The other parent wants to join. On the Family page, make an invite code. They create their own account and enter the code.
- No phone notifications. Open 🔔 Notifications and turn them on for this phone. On iPhone in Safari, first add Unify to the Home Screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) and open it from there.
- No signal. Pages you've opened recently still open, with a “saved at” note. Ticking groceries, chores and schoolwork is saved on the phone and sent when signal comes back.
- Connecting Google or Outlook. On the Calendar page, tap Sync with Google & Outlook. In the phone app, Google only allows this from a web browser, so open Unify's website in Safari or Chrome to connect once; syncing then works everywhere.

Your login and everything that's yours is deleted right away. If you're the last parent, the whole family goes with it, including every photo and kid login. Copies in the locked weekly backups are gone within 8 weeks.
